The South London Film Festival is the Official Film Festival of South London. We are a not for profit organisation passionate about encouraging creativity and inspiring new generations of filmmakers, so we are open to filmmakers from both inside and outside the UK and will always offer a ‘free to submit’ category for students/educational facilities.

South London offers a wealth of multicultural diversity and we are proudly surrounded by an amazing community of both creatives and film lovers, who we want to bring together to celebrate filmmakers and films from around the world.

The spirit and collaborative enthusiasm for making films is an art in itself. We believe that every film we watch shapes the future for the industry and the world around it, so we are dedicated to supporting filmmakers by promoting their films and continuing to work with partners to provide prizes and rewards that will support their filmmaking careers.

At The South London Film Festival, we believe in fostering a festival environment that champions diversity, inclusivity, accessibility, and ethical filmmaking practices. All winning films will be provided with bespoke Awards sourced from local independent businesses. Winners will be invited to a live Q&A to promote their film. We also offer a feedback service, if you would like to submit your film and receive feedback even if not selected, please choose the ‘Short/Feature Film + Feedback‘ category upon submission.
